The Roundhouse is located in the North-West corner of UNSW Kensington Campus. Limited paid parking is available nearby. We recommend against driving to campus. 

PUBLIC TRANSPORT 

Less than 15 minutes from Sydney’s CBD, the Roundhouse is easily accessible with nearly 1,700 UNSW express bus services per week from Central station. Guests can also access the Roundhouse from Coogee, the Inner West, Botany and Circular Quay.

891 - Express service to and from UNSW from Central station 

890, 892 (peak hour), 392, 394, L94, 396, 397 and 399 operate along Elizabeth St in the city

CYCLING

The Roundhouse at UNSW is accessible for cyclists with bike racks available across campus.

The nearest parking station is Sydney Hospital, located on Hospital Road. If you have a Mobility Parking sticker, you can use the parking spaces at Shakespeare Place, on the corner of Macquarie Street and the Cahill Expressway. However, parking near the Mitchell can be prohibitively expensive. We strongly recommend against driving.  

PUBLIC TRANSPORT 

The closest train stations are Martin Place (200 metres) and St James (450 metres). Ferries arrive into Circular Quay which is only a short walk away. The Sydney Explorer bus stops outside the Library on Macquarie Street.  

ACCESSIBILITY

The Mitchell Library is fully accessible. The wheelchair and pram-friendly entrance is on Macquarie Street, opposite Hunter Street. There are lifts in the building and accessible toilets. If you require assisted entry, contact the Library on +61 2 9273 1414.
